Located at the beginning of the red light district, I discovered this bar quite randomly one day. There are many other websites which list the best places to drink Belgian beers in Amsterdam, but I have to say that this awesome hidden gem is my favourite. Its an original brown cafe and entering inside is like stepping back into time. The beer selection is magnificent and you can taste many delicious Belgian brews. I always enjoy the kwak here and the Karmeliet trippel is amazing.
This microbrewery located in Amsterdam Zuid has a reputation for brewing great beers.
If you venture this far out of the centre to drink a beer, you must truely appreciate the beauty of a craft beer and they certainly don’t disappoint.
This is a really amazing micro brewery located in the city centre. The beers are really exceptional and the owners carefully select the grains and malt themselves.
The bar itself is a nice quiet spot to relax and enjoy a beer in the busy centre.
I didn’t drink beer until I arrived in Amsterdam. This was the first brewery that I tried and Brouwerij’t IJ Zatte remains my favourite craft beer.
With a fantastic collection of beers and a wonderful terrace, this place should be on your must-visit list in Amsterdam.
